Three English clubs want to sign key Celtic player
Celtic did not have the greatest first half of the season although they still maintain a slight advantage over the Rangers. Thus, expectations were that they would significantly strengthen their squad this month but it looks like the recent Glasgow Derby win has reduced the urgency around the situation quite a bit.
Celtic have made only one signing so far this January. Nicolas Kuhn has arrived in a £3 million move from Rapid Vienna.
The decision to sign a winger confused many fans. The club have significant strength in that area of the pitch. Could the arrival of one lead to the departure of another?
As reported by the Daily Mail (via Glasgow Times), West Brom Albion, Southampton and Watford are eyeing a loan deal for Liel Abada. Ligue 1 and Bundesliga sides are also interested in him.

Abada made a fantastic start to the campaign under the management of Brendan Rodgers before suffering a long-term injury. He has recently returned to the team.
After a couple of appearances off the bench, he started against Buckie Thistle in the Scottish Cup at the weekend. And Abada marked his first start in many months with an assist.
As he continues to play more and regain some of his rhythm, one would expect him to perform even better in coming months. There is no doubt that he is a key part of this team and might even establish himself as a regular starter, considering his track record of effectiveness in the final third of the pitch.
Of course, all of that is if he stays at the club. There are off-field reasons as well which might end up playing a part in Abada's future at Parkhead but it feels unlikely that the club would part ways with him in the middle of the season.
