Steven Naismith's team had given Celtic troubles earlier in the season, but at Parkhead, the Hoops made no mistake, winning 3-0 thanks to a brace from Kyogo and one from Matt O'Riley. Every point is important at this stage of the season and now, the wait is for the upcoming Glasgow Derby, which could have major implications on the title race.

As things stand, Celtic are leading the title race but they cannot afford to take anything for granted. We have already seen how quickly the momentum can change more than once this season.

Celtic have a decent record against the Rangers this season and also the home advantage in the final league Glasgow Derby of the campaign. But still, Brendan Rodgers' team will need to make sure that they bring their A-game next weekend.

After seeing his side lose 3-0 at Parkhead, Naismith declared Celtic as the best in the league. As reported by Hearts Standard, the manager told BBC Scotland:

"But if you don’t take your chances… Celtic are the best team in the league and have the most experience to manage that situation, which they did."

Interestingly, Naismith had made very similar comments just a couple of months ago but about Philippe Clement's team. As reported by PLZ Soccer, he had called Rangers the 'best team in the league'.

So, who does Naismith actually believe are the best team in the league? Does it change continuously with the league table? Or is it just a way to soften Hearts' defeats?

Well, to be honest, the best team in the league are the ones who end up lifting the Premiership trophy come the end of the season. We will soon find out who that is, with just three more games to go in the 2023/24 campaign. All eyes will be on the Glasgow Derby at Parkhead next weekend, a potential title decider between the two rivals.
