There are quite a few players at Celtic who do not seem to fit into Brendan Rodgers' first-team plans. For them, it might be best to seek different options as it looks like the Northern Irishman is set to remain manager of the Hoops for the foreseeable future. Let's see how many exits take place in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Celtic were very successful with their recruitment during the time of Ange Postecoglou as manager. But that does not mean that every move they made during that period of time worked out.

One player who has not quite met expectations since joining Celtic is Sead Haksabanovic. He started brightly in the 22/23 season but his form faded away after the World Cup break.

This season, he was out on loan at Stoke City. Haksabanovic showed some real promise early on in his stint in the Championship as well, but just like at Celtic, he failed to keep up that early form and barely featured in the second half of the campaign.

A move to Italy might be on the cards for the player despite his unimpressive performances over the past two seasons. As reported by La Gazzetta Dello Sport [10/06 print edition, p. 31] (via 67 Hail Hail), Parma are keen on signing Haksabanovic and are working with Celtic on reaching an agreement.

It remains to be seen if a move to Italy ends up transpiring for Haksabanovic or not. Him leaving Celtic in the summer might turn out to be the right step for all parties involved though.

Celtic have built up some impressive depth in that area of the pitch. So, it feels unlikely that Haksabanovic will get regular playing time moving forward at Parkhead, even if he was to remain in Glasgow.
