Rangers fans won't be happy with Vaclav Cerny's Celtic admission
Celtic won the most recent Glasgow Derby quite comfortably with goals from Daizen Maeda, Kyogo and Callum McGregor sealing a 3-0 victory. On a different day, that scoreline could have been even more one-sided as Brendan Rodgers' side could, and perhaps should, have found the back of the net a few more times.
Philippe Clement did not view the game as one-sided though, pointing out stats like shots on target and possession following his side's 3-0 defeat. But not all Rangers players seem to share that view.
Vaclav Cerny joined the Rangers on loan from Wolfsburg this summer. And the Czech Republic international recognises that his team were second-best to Celtic at the weekend.
Cerny has admitted that the Rangers were 'outclassed' at Celtic Park. As reported by Football Scotland, he said:
"We didn't do well at all, they outclassed us in everything."

That sounds like a pretty accurate description of how things played out between Celtic and the Rangers at the weekend. In fact, it has been that way for a while now.
Celtic have lost just once in their previous twelve games against the Rangers. Even that one defeat came in a game that had nothing riding on the result, as the Hoops had already secured the league title, and they had key players missing as well.
Of course, Rangers fans have not been happy with the weekend's result and questions have been raised about the manager, the players and the board. But rarely will you find someone admit that Celtic are simply the better side. So, one has to wonder what the reaction to Cerny's comments will be.
Celtic will be looking forward and not at the Glasgow Derby in the rearview mirror. Tougher tests lie ahead. They will return to action after the international break with a home game against Hearts.
