Celtic have a lot of decisions to make in the upcoming summer transfer window. Undoubtedly, the majority of the focus will have to be on signing players and actually getting the recruitment right this time around. That has not been the case the last two seasons and we have seen the results, as the team have taken several steps back from where they were and allowed the Rangers to bridge the gap even in a season where the Ibrox club have struggled.

There is a need to make sure that the club part ways with the right players as well though. Some need to leave permanently while others could do with loan spells to develop their games further.

One player who has impressed away on loan this season is Bosun Lawal. The Irish youth international has been highly-rated for a while and he finally got a chance to show his quality at Fleetwood Town.

In his first full season in senior football, the 20-year-old established himself as a regular starter for the English club, playing in multiple positions in both midfield and defence. And now, Celtic have a decision to make regarding Lawal, who is drawing the interest of clubs from down south and understandably so.

As reported by The Scottish Sun, QPR are leading the chase for Lawal. Portsmouth are also keen on a loan for the player and Derby County are also keeping an eye out. Brendan Rodgers is set to give him a chance in pre-season but another loan deal is still a possibility.

Lawal has a contract that is believed to run until the summer of 2026. So sending him out on another loan spell would not be the worst idea in the world.

He has impressed but that was at League One level. Can he come in and do that for Celtic? We shall see in pre-season. Lawal's immense versatility could make things a lot easier for him, as he is capable of filling multiple gaps when need be.
