There are a lot of questions surrounding Celtic right now, more than there were in the summer. The hope was that the team would adjust to Brendan Rodgers' system after a few months. That has not happened. In fact, it has never felt like they have gotten out of second gear. They have had good days here and there, but overall, their performances have been uninspiring.

Celtic will need to strengthen in the January transfer window because things are heading south at the moment. They need to stop that slide and some fresh faces and proven quality could ensure that.

One area where they need to strengthen is striker. Kyogo has not looked anywhere near his best under the management of Rodgers and the system does not seem to suit him. Oh Hyeon-gyu has shown positive signs here and there but has been inconsistent for the most part.

On top of that, there is the AFC Asian Cup starting in January. It is possible that one or both of Celtic's strikers could be called up by their respective national teams and be unavailable for a significant amount of time as a result.

Lennon tips £5 million target to succeed at Celtic

One striker who has been heavily linked with Celtic in recent times is Bojan Miovski. And Neil Lennon appears to be a fan of the Northern Macedonian international. As reported by Football Scotland, he said on PLZ when asked if the Aberdeen player would work at Parkhead:

"No question, no question. I've seen him live, I know his attitude to the game."

Lennon further added about Miovski:

"Everything he gets in the game he deserves and I love his attitude. He's a really good player and I think he's been fantastic this season."

Most people seem to believe that Miovski would do a good job at Celtic Park. It is worth remembering that he has scored 30 goals for Aberdeen since arriving there in the summer of 2022 and they are currently trying to avoid relegation.

It remains to be seen if Celtic are able to get a deal done for Miovski or not. It could take a transfer fee around £5 million to convince Aberdeen to part ways with their star man. That would be a record when it comes to transfers between two Scottish clubs.
