Jurgen Klopp seals Owen Beck future amid Celtic links
Celtic need to strengthen in a few positions before this transfer window closes. One of them is believed to be left-back. Greg Taylor appears to have the backing of Brendan Rodgers but the Scot's performances have quite certainly dipped this season when compared to his time under the management of Ange Postecoglou.
On the other hand, Alexandro Bernabei does not appear to have a future at Celtic Park. There have been suggestions that the club are open to offers for the Argentine left-back.
Celtic have been linked with a few left-backs in recent times. One of them is Owen Beck of Liverpool. The youngster spent the first half of the season at Dundee FC but was recalled this month.
There was speculation that Beck could end up joining Celtic this month, either on loan or permanently. But now, it is clear that that won't be happening.

Beck was brought on as a substitute in Liverpool's 4-0 win against Bournemouth. While he was on the pitch for a cameo, it meant that the left-back has now played for two clubs this season.
According to rules, while a player can be registered with three clubs in a season, he can represent only two. That means that there would be no point to Celtic signing Beck this month.
Of course, he is one that they might keep their eyes on for the future. While Beck might get a few chances at Liverpool right now due to their injury problems, it is hard to see him being a regular for them when the likes of Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas are fit and available.
It remains to be seen whether Celtic end up signing a left-back this month or not. Tiago Araujo is another player they have been linked with.
