Former Sunderland boss pictured at Celtic training
Celtic are in a tough position right now. Brendan Rodgers needs to find a way for his team to pick up the momentum again as we head into the business end of the season. That is easier said than done though. At no point in this campaign have the Hoops been able to produce good performances on a consistent basis.
At least at the start of the season, they were getting results domestically. Even those have dried up over the last few months. The fact that they are behind the Rangers in the title race despite winning both Glasgow Derbies so far speaks for itself.
This kind of form has raised question marks about Rodgers' long-term future at Celtic Park. And. interestingly, a former Sunderland manager was recently pictured at Lennoxtown.
It is someone with a long history in the Scottish game. PLZ Soccer posted a picture on Twitter of Jack Ross at Lennoxtown as Celtic trained ahead of the weekend's game with Motherwell.

The reason behind Ross' presence at Lennoxtown remains uncertain. It is hard to imagine that there is any possibility that he could be in the running for the Celtic job, even if Rodgers was shown the exit door.
Is it possible that Celtic could be looking at Ross for a possible behind-the-scenes role? He is currently the Head of Academy Coaching at Newcastle United.
At the same time, Ross is believed to have a good relationship with Rodgers. So, it might very well have been nothing more than a friendly visit.
Celtic fans will not be all that worried about Ross' visit to Lennoxtown though. The most important thing for the club right now is stringing together a series of wins in upcoming games if they are to have any chance to winning the league from here.
