There are quite a few players whose future at Celtic is uncertain heading into the summer transfer window. One area of the squad which might be set to undergo some changes is striker. There have been worrying rumours about Kyogo potentially leaving and hopefully it will not come to that. On the other hand, it is unclear what the future holds for Adam Idah. Most fans want him to be signed on a permanent basis but agreeing a deal with Norwich City won't be simple.

Amidst all this, Oh Hyeon-gyu has ended up being somewhat of a forgotten player for Celtic. He barely featured in the second half of the 23/24 season, following the arrival of Idah on loan.

Now, it looks like the Ange Postecoglou signing could be heading for the exit door. And offers are already starting to arrive for the signature of the South Korean international.

Belgium could turn out to be the next step in his career. As reported by hbvl, KRC Genk have even made an initial bid for Oh.

It would be safe to say that Oh has potential. We have seen flashes of that on numerous occasions during his stay at Celtic. But so far, he has not been able to deliver on a consistent basis.

At the same time, one could argue that he has never gotten a real run of games at Celtic Park. Perhaps that is the reason we have never seen his best form.

No matter which way you look at it, it is safe to say that things cannot continue on in this manner for Oh. He needs to be playing regular football at this stage of his career and perhaps leaving Celtic is the right step for him considering the circumstances.
