English club's interest in Celtic player confirmed
Celtic will need to make additions to their squad over the summer transfer window. No matter how this season ends, one cannot deny that the Hoops have struggled to match their own sky high standards, whether it be the performances or the results. There is a clear need for improvement, even if they end up winning the league or the Scottish Cup or both.
While the arrival of fresh faces is necessary, a few returning from loan spells could be like new signings as well. Bosun Lawal is someone who is believed to have the potential to be a Celtic regular one day.
Lawal spent the season out on loan at Fleetwood Town, who were unfortunately relegated to League Two of English football. But the player himself managed to earn a lot of praise for his performances and was a regular starter in his very first full campaign at the senior level.
Lawal has been linked with plenty of clubs recently as well, with one of them being Portsmouth. And as reported by The News, there’s credence in talk of interest in the 20-year-old.

It is believed that Lawal will be given a chance to impress in pre-season. But if he is not at the level where he can get consistent playing time for Celtic yet, then it would be a good idea to send him out on another loan spell to get some more experience.
Portsmouth could be a pretty good option in that case. The club won League One this season and will be playing in the English Championship in the upcoming campaign.
That could be a decent level for Lawal to continue his development. And it could help him get ready to become a regular for Celtic in the future.
