Crystal Palace set Odsonne Edouard transfer fee amid Celtic links
Celtic have been linked with plenty of players in recent times as we head towards the summer transfer window. The club might have won the Premiership and Scottish Cup double in Brendan Rodgers' first season back as manager, but at several points during the course of the campaign, they looked shaky and not up to the mark.
Then there is the need to improve in Europe. The last season's win over Feyenoord was a step in the right direction but the club need to be aiming a lot higher than that.
Amid all this, rumours have cropped up on social media that there is interest in bringing back Odsonne Edouard. The Frenchman left Celtic in 2021 in order to join Crystal Palace but his stint in London has not exactly proven to be a success so far.
As reported by South London Press, Crystal Palace are willing to listen to offers for Edouard this summer. The Eagles value the striker at a transfer fee around £20 million.

Crystal Palace had signed Edouard from Celtic for a transfer fee believed to be around £14 million. Since then, he has scored 21 goals in three seasons for the Eagles.
That is just seven goals per season. So, one has to wonder how Edouard's transfer value could have been boosted as a result of those performances and numbers.
Bringing back Edouard would not be a bad idea at all. He is a proven success at Celtic Park. But the transfer fee should be no higher than £10 million.
To be honest, most Celtic fans would probably prefer if the club signed Adam Idah on a permanent basis instead. The Irishman showed a ton of promise while on loan at Parkhead from Norwich City, playing a key role in winning the double, including scoring the Scottish Cup winner.
