Another loss away at Rugby Park means that Celtic are well and truly in a title race again. Not too long ago, it was looking like they were going to walk their way to another league triumph. That is no longer the case. Since the arrival of Philippe Clement as manager, the Rangers have been getting results, even if their performances have not been great. Unfortunately, the Hoops have lacked in both aspects.

Celtic had looked pretty good in the first half against Kilmarnock and should have been more than one goal up. After the break, they were completely flat and ended up losing the match 2-1.

On most occasions Celtic lose in the league, it is because of the other team sitting back and getting a goal against the run of play. That was not the case this time around. Instead, the Hoops were completely outplayed in the second half and Kilmarnock deserved the win here.

As for Celtic, there is a lot to be worried about. And Chris Sutton clearly was not impressed with his former club's performance in the second half. He tweeted out:

The truth is that there is no fear factor about this Celtic team at the moment. They do not seem to be in control of most games and every opposition has a chance of getting a result.

The January transfer window is being viewed as the opportunity to fix a lot of problems. Until then, it might not be right to criticise Brendan Rodgers. Most fans knew that the club did not do enough in the summer transfer window and the results are on the pitch. It is not really a surprise to be honest.

There is some time till then and big matches too. The Hoops must make sure that they win in those before reaching for the refresh button.
