Chris Sutton takes cheeky dig at Rangers as Celtic win league
Celtic clinched the league title and in style, with a 5-0 away win over Kilmarnock. Adam Idah, Daizen Maeda and James Forrest scored once each, while Matt O'Riley got himself a brace. It had been a rollercoaster Premiership campaign for the Hoops. Initially, it had looked like they were going to cruise to the trophy but then ended up handing the advantage to the Rangers. Ultimately, all's well that ends well. And this was quite certainly a happy ending for Brendan Rodgers' side.
Of course, the season is not over. There is one more league game to go, against St Mirren at Celtic Park, which will be an occasion of celebration.
Then, there is the Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park against the Rangers. Of course, winning the league is sweet but doing the double would be even sweeter for Celtic.
Chris Sutton appeared to take a bit of a dig at the Rangers following Celtic's league triumph. He tweeted out:

Of course, a lot of comments have come out of the Ibrox camp over the course of the season. Whether that be their players believing that they are the best team in Scotland despite being behind Celtic in the league or that they have more desire to win than Callum McGregor.
This title triumph will feel especially sweet for Rodgers. We all know about the circumstances that surrounded his previous exit from Celtic. And while he did win seven trophies during his first stint at Parkhead, the Northern Irishman still had a lot to prove to the fans.
There were also times this season when the Northern Irishman and Celtic were written off. There were even some calls for Rodgers to be shown the exit door in order to save the season. It would be safe to say that the critics have been answered.
