The Celtic goalkeeping department could undergo a lot of changes this summer. The biggest of them is surely going to be the departure of Joe Hart, as the Englishman is set to retire at the end of this season. On the other hand, there are a ton of question marks around the future of Benjamin Siegrist at the club as well.

Naturally, Celtic have been linked with quite a few goalkeepers recently. Ugurcan Cakir of Trabzonspor, Michael Zetterer of Werder Bremen and Angus Gunn of Norwich City, have all been suggested as potential transfer targets for the club.

Now, it looks like the name of an Australian goalkeeper has been added to that list as well. One who came through the ranks at Tottenham Hotspur and is currently playing his football at Middlesbrough.

As reported by FTBL, Tom Glover is wanted by FC Copenhagen, Celtic, Rangers and Newcastle United after a breakout debut season at Middlesbrough. He is high on Brendan Rodgers’ radar.

Glover was part of the Tottenham Hotspur academy setup for a few years but never managed to make a senior appearance for the club. He was included in the first-team squad on some matchdays as a cover option.

Glover would move back to Australia, where he made a name for himself at Melbourne City FC. Of course, Celtic fans will know the club's name well, having signed Marco Tilio from there not too long ago and the winger even returned there on loan recently.

Since returning to England, Glover has done well in the Championship as well. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has made 20 appearances for Middlesbrough across all competitions this season, conceding 27 goals and keeping 5 clean sheets.

At 26 years of age, Glover has a decent bit of experience under his belt as well, even if not at the highest level in Europe. But if Celtic did sign him as their next first-choice goalkeeper to replace Hart, it would leave a lot of fans underwhelmed.
