Celtic can sign Fulham goalkeeper for free this summer
Celtic's top priority this summer transfer window has to be signing a new goalkeeper. That is because Joe Hart, who has been the club's number one between the posts for the past three seasons, has decided that it is time for him to retire at the end of the campaign. Of course, replacing someone of the Englishman's quality and experience is not going to be an easy task for the Hoops.
Celtic have been linked with some high-profile names like Caoimhin Kelleher and Anthony Patterson, who is believed to be on the radar of both Liverpool and Arsenal. Turkish international, Ugurcan Cakir, is another player believed to be on the Hoops' radar.
But it might be worth keeping an eye on the free agent section as well. Interestingly, a long-time Fulham goalkeeper's current deal is set to run out in the summer.
Marek Rodak has been at Fulham since 2013, having come up through the youth ranks at the English club. But this summer might be the right time for him to seek a change in scenery. The 27-year-old Slovakian international has had to do with only a handful of cup appearances this season and with his contract running out, it does not make much sense to extend if he wants to play regular football.

Rodak has been the starting goalkeeper for Fulham in two promotion-winning campaigns in the Championship. But whenever they make it to the Premier League, he ends up dropping down the pecking order.
Thus, it might be time for him to go to a club where he will be the given the chance when the spotlight is the brightest. And Celtic might not be a bad fit for him.
When handed chances, Rodak has a good record. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has conceded 91 goals in 93 appearances for Fulham.
