Celtic must sign brilliant Chelsea winger next summer
Celtic saw a key player leave recently in the form of Liel Abada. The initial plans were clearly different as the winger had signed a long-term extension with the club last September and was a starter in Brendan Rodgers' side early on in the campaign before his injury. The circumstances though meant that parting ways was the best, and perhaps the only, solution for both parties.
Rumours have emerged that Celtic have made signing another winger a priority for next summer following Abada's exit. And one Chelsea player is enjoying a breakout campaign on loan in the English Championship right now.
Ipswich Town are arguably the biggest fairy tale story in football right now. Having been promoted to the Championship from League One just last year, they are once again pushing for promotion.
As things stand, Ipswich Town sit second in the Championship, just a point behind Leicester City, who have played a game less. And one of the main reasons behind their form this season has been Omari Hutchinson, on loan from Chelsea.

After a somewhat slow start to the season, Hutchinson seems to have unlocked his true potential over the last few months. The 20-year-old winger was named the Championship Player of the Month in February.
His current deal with Chelsea is believed to run out in the summer of 2025. That could open up a window of opportunity for Celtic to sign him, with the Blues in need of making transfers to balance the books.
Even if Hutchinson ends up signing a contract extension with Chelsea, it would be well worth bringing him on loan. The Jamaican international is a special talent who is now putting it all together in the senior game. It would be a good experience for the player and he can make a positive contribution for the Hoops as well.
