Celtic have looked uninspiring and out of ideas in the final third this season. Oftentimes, they struggle to unlock resolute defences and end up dropping points as a result. The club could certainly do with some reinforcements in that area of the pitch. Players who will bring some fresh ideas and hopefully get the Hoops going again.

Jota left the club in the summer and has not really been replaced. The club have signed quite a few wingers recently but nobody has filled the Portuguese winger's boots so far.

Facundo Pellistri is someone with a lot of talent. The 22-year-old does not play regular football for Manchester United and is mostly brought on as a substitute. It has been difficult for him to find any sort of rhythm and form with the limited minutes he gets though.

Despite his lack of minutes at club level, Pellistri is a regular for the Uruguay national team. And if he is available on loan in January, Celtic should definitely consider making a move.

Pellistri is a fantastic dribbler of the ball, has good pace and acceleration, seems relaxed when pressed and has an eye for a pass as well. Celtic could definitely do with a winger like that right now.

Manchester United have loaned Pellistri out in the past as well. He has spent time away on loan at Alaves, following his £9 million move to Old Trafford from Penarol.

Celtic could be a good place for someone like Pellistri to develop further. He could not only get used to playing for one of the best teams in the Scottish league but also understand the pressure of having to compete for trophies on a consistent basis. On the other hand, he could make a positive impact i the final third for the Hoops.
