Celtic fans' fears came true as the club dropped further points. Aberdeen have not been a team in form and despite that, Brendan Rodgers' side could only manage a 1-1 draw against them away at the Pittodrie Stadium. The result means that the Hoops will see their points advantage evaporate completely, if the Rangers win their games in hand, despite having won both Glasgow derbies this season so far.

Not the position that Celtic would have wanted to be in. But somehow, where they have put themselves in for the most part.

The only positive from the day was that Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah, the club's two signings of the winter, both managed to put in good performances. One can only hope that the duo are able to prove most people wrong and go on to become success stories at Celtic Park.

One who did not impress though is Maik Nawrocki. The summer signing has not gotten a lot of chances this season, but given a start against Aberdeen, he did not make the most of the opportunity.

Nawrocki looked shaky in the game against Aberdeen. Bojan Miovski got the better of him for his goal, ironically after being linked with the Hoops in January.

Nawrocki picked up a yellow card on the day as well and there were genuine concerns that he could end up picking up a second one. Ultimately, he was subbed off for Stephen Welsh late in the second half.

Cameron Carter-Vickers is set to remain out for three more weeks. But Nawrocki has not convinced that he is good enough to be the starter until then. It might be better if the Hoops stick with Welsh until the American international returns to fitness, hopefully later this month.
