Celtic linked with 30-year-old Switzerland international
Celtic's search for a new number one this summer has seen them being linked with a long list of players, currently playing all over Europe. Joe Hart spent the previous three seasons as the Hoops' first-choice between the posts and his success speaks for itself, seven trophies during that period of time. It goes without saying that the club have some big boots to fill and need to get their recruitment right.
A new name has been added to the never-ending list of Celtic's goalkeeping targets. It is that of Switzerland international, Yvon Mvogo.
As reported by Le Telegramme (via 67 Hail Hail), Celtic have expressed interest in Mvogo. Lorient, who have been relegated, are expected to lose several first-team players this summer and multiple clubs are keen on the 30-year-old Swiss international goalkeeper.
Nantes and Parma are believed to be keen on signing Mvogo as well. It could take a transfer fee in the region of £4 million to get a deal done. Let's see how things play out.

Mvogo does have some decent bit of experience under his belt. He has played for clubs like RB Leipzig and PSV in the past. He also featured at Ligue 1 level for the previous two seasons with Lorient. Add to that a few appearances for the Switzerland national team.
Celtic will need to find the right replacement for Hart this summer. Is Mvogo at that level? That remains to be seen. There is no guarantee that the Hoops will even make an official move to sign him.
Speculation surrounding Dominik Livakovic and a rumoured €9 million transfer bid has picked up pace in recent weeks. He would be an excellent pick to take Hart's place in the team. Let's wait and see if there is more to that saga.
