On the pitch, there is a lot of difference between Celtic and clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Arsenal and more. We saw a glimpse of that earlier in the week as Borussia Dortmund handed Brendan Rodgers' side a 7-1 defeat away at Signal Iduna Park in the Champions League.

That gap in quality is not unexpected. Celtic's all-time record signing was made this summer when they shelled out £11 million to bring in Arne Engels from FC Augsburg. Just for comparison, Real Madrid signed Eden Hazard for a figure north of £100 million back in 2019.

Off the pitch, Celtic are just as well supported as any other club in the world though. And that looks set to reflect in their deal with Adidas moving forward.

It would be safe to say that Celtic's deal with Adidas has proven to be a grand success. There have been plenty of memorable kits and fans can look forward to more of the same in the future.

As reported by Footy Headlines, Celtic will become an Adidas elite club from the 25-26 season. They will be receiving authentic kits (Heat.Dry technology) and the Trefoil logo on their third shirt.

Adidas are set to add four more teams in Liverpool, AS Roma, Newcastle United and Celtic to their elite team catalogue from next season. The five teams already on there are Manchester United, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Juventus and Bayern Munich.

That is quite the list to be on to be honest. One would think that even more thought will be going into the Celtic kits moving forward and the chances of gaffes like last season's home shirt, won't take place in the future. In a week that has not been the best for the Hoops, this news is something to be positive about.
