Celtic will need to sign a goalkeeper in the summer to take Joe Hart's place between the posts. The Englishman will be retiring at the end of the season and has the chance to add some more silverware to his cabinet before that. Not only are the Hoops competing for the league title but they are also in the Scottish Cup final, where they will take on the Rangers.

Hopefully, Celtic will win both those competitions and Hart will get to finish his career on a high note. After that, it will be about finding a suitable replacement for him and that won't be an easy task to pull off.

Celtic have been linked with plenty of goalkeepers in recent times. Ugurcan Cakir of Trabzonspor, Caoimhin Kelleher of Liverpool and Michael Zetterer of Werder Bremen are all believed to be on their radar.

As reported by the Sunderland Echo, transfer reports have emerged linking Anthony Patterson with a move to Arsenal, Liverpool and Celtic during the summer window. The Echo understands that the interest from the trio is indeed genuine.

All three of the clubs named could be in need of signing a goalkeeper in the summer. For Celtic, it is of course the upcoming retirement of Hart which makes it necessary. On top of that, there are question marks over the future of Benjamin Siegrist as well.

When it comes to Liverpool, Kelleher has been linked with a move away for quite some time now. Despite his good performances, he remains the number two behind Alisson Becker. Interestingly, Celtic are one of the clubs who have been linked with a move for the Irishman.

As for Arsenal, it looks like Aaron Ramsdale will be leaving the club soon. The Englishman was their number one between the posts not too long ago but has barely featured this season.
