Celtic are flying at the moment. They have won all eight of their games so far this season and in convincing fashion as well. That run includes a 3-0 win over the Rangers in the first Glasgow Derby of the season and a 5-1 victory against Slovan Bratislava in their UEFA Champions League opener. It would be safe to say that the fans are fully behind Brendan Rodgers' vision once again.

Of course, that must not have been easy. Especially after Rodgers left the club in the middle of the 2018/19 season to join Leicester City, the last time he was Celtic manager.

As a result, Celtic fans are bound to get nervous whenever rumours pop out about Rodgers potentially leaving the club. He recently became the oddsmakers favourite to replace Ange Postecoglou as Tottenham Hotspur manager. And they are not the only London club the Northern Irishman has been linked with.

Rodgers has been suggested as a possible option for West Ham United as well. That is after Julen Lopetegui's disappointing start with the Hammers, who have four points from their first five Premier League games and sit 14th.

Chris Sutton is pretty clear about his thoughts when it comes to the suggestion of Rodgers moving to West Ham United. As reported by 67 Hail Hail, the Celtic hero told 606 on BBC Radio 5 Live Sport:

"He is at a huge club north of the border. Oh, come on. He wouldn’t want to downgrade (even if the money was right) and go to West Ham from Celtic."

One would hope that Sutton is right. It is almost unthinkable that Rodgers would leave Celtic in the middle of the season once again. His comments have suggested that he is here for the long run this time around but things can change quickly in football.

At the same time, West Ham United's decision to part ways with David Moyes has to be questioned. He guided them to their first trophy in decades and for the most part, overachieved in the Premier League as well.
