Celtic got back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Livingston. It was not the best performance against the team sitting at the bottom of the Premiership table. But the three points are what the Hoops needed urgently after back-to-back defeats in the league and they got them. Hopefully, it will help them go on a good run from here on forward.

Celtic have some very important games coming up. An away trip to face Dundee FC in midweek will be followed by a Glasgow Derby at Parkhead in the final game of the year.

It could turn out to be the most important game of the league season as well. This is a pivotal point of the campaign for both teams and the momentum has shifted towards the Rangers in recent weeks. All that could change, depending on the result of the Glasgow Derby though.

If Celtic win, they could get their season back on track. But if the Rangers end up winning, Brendan Rodgers' side will be left with a mountain to climb and a lot of questions to answer.

Celtic handed potential injury concern before Glasgow Derby at Parkhead

Celtic were handed a potential injury concern ahead of the Glasgow Derby though. Alistair Johnston seemed to have pulled up towards the end of the game against Livingston.

Johnston has not been at his best this season so far and seems to be another one of the players whose form has suffered since Rodgers replaced Ange Postecoglou as manager. The Canadian international had been one of the standout performers last season after arriving in January.

Johnston is the type of player who does rise up to occasions like the Glasgow Derby. Thus, if does end up missing the game, then it would be a blow for the Hoops.
