It is starting to look as though the Bhoys are back in town. Celtic manager, Brendan Rodgers, is edging closer to finally having a full-strength squad to select from. That is great news ahead of the Glasgow Derby away at Ibrox this weekend, which could be both clubs' most important game of the season.

Last weekend saw Cameron Carter-Vickers continue his return from injury with an impressive display against Livingston. It was also great to see Reo Hatate start a game in what has been a campaign filled with injuries for the midfielder. Liam Scales also returned in defence.

Looking ahead to Sunday's match at Ibrox, Rodgers will be keen to have captain Callum McGregor fit and ready to play a part. We will know more about that as the week progresses.

There is some more positive news for Celtic on the injury front. As reported by The Scottish Sun, Luis Palma is ahead of schedule with his rehab from a muscle injury suffered in training last month. The Honduran international is expected to be involved in training in the lead-up to the Glasgow Derby.

Palma has been out since he picked up an injury in training in March. He is believed to be due to be back training with the squad this week at Lennoxtown. If all goes well, he could be back in contention for the Ibrox match.

Adding Palma to the squad, even if just on the bench, is a great extra option to change the game from the wings. Nicolas Kuhn is showing fine form, Yang Hyun-jun is also settling in well with some good performances. Daizen Maeda adds strength in both phases of the game with his pace and work rate. James Forrest has looked sharp and positive when given a chance.

With a stronger defence, midfield possibly bolstered by the return of McGregor, Hatate back and these wide options, alongside Kyogo Furuhashi back in goal-scoring form, there’s plenty for Celtic to be confident about. It’s a critical Glasgow Derby in terms of points and the league title race.
