Celtic and Fulham both looking to sign wonderkid
With their 2-1 win over the Rangers in the recent Glasgow Derby, Celtic put the league title race beyond almost any doubt. It would be a miracle if they don't go on to lift the Premiership trophy from here. All they need is one more point from the next two games to officially be crowned champions. They might not even need that as they have a much better goal difference and it is very possible that Philippe Clement's team might end up dropping points themselves.
Of course, Celtic cannot take nothing for granted. They should be looking to sprint past the finish line with a win over Kilmarnock in the very next game, away at Rugby Park.
After that, there is the Scottish Cup final, in which they will face the Rangers once again. Of course, Celtic should have the psychological edge going into the contest but anything can happen in these one-off games.
Many fans will already have eyes on the summer transfer window as well. And it looks like Celtic have their eyes on a wonderkid, although he is wanted by the likes of Fulham as well.
Celtic and Fulham both looking to sign wonderkid
As reported by Football Insider, Fulham are competing with Celtic to sign Scottish wonderkid Aiden McGinlay from Queens Park. Ipswich Town also have an interest in him.
The youngster has earned rave reviews while playing for Queens Park’s under-18s and B team. Now, it remains to be seen whether a blockbuster move lies in his future, whether that be to the Scottish champions or the Premier League.
Of course, someone like McGinlay would not be expected to come in and make an immediate impact at Celtic. But his potential might be too high for the club to pass up the chance to sign him.
