Celtic have big plans to invest in their squad for the future. As they sit top of the Scottish Premiership, Brendan Rodgers will be put under pressure to invest heavily in the summer transfer window, with the aim of establishing their dominance on the rest of the top-flight.

As it's been reported today, Celtic wish to sign a new goalkeeper, which seems to be their main transfer priority. This is due to Joe Hart coming towards the end of his contract. However, this doesn't mean that Rodgers won't invest and strengthen in other positions

As per Football Transfers, Celtic are interested in bringing former Manchester United "wonderkid" Adam Berry to Celtic Park. However, he is currently going through trials at Nottingham Forest and he won't be short of options when he finally makes his decision since Sheffield United and Blackburn Rovers would also be keen to bring him onboard.

The 17-year-old has a brief history of playing football in Scotland as he played some trial matches at Rangers. If he's got his head screwed on, though, he'll know who the biggest club in Scotland is and where he could make a better team for himself.

Who is Adam Berry?

Berry is an exciting young player who is on the lookout to make his breakout in football. Although it's still early days, he has built a reputation in the Manchester United academy for being a tricky winger who is fast and likes to cut inside. We'll have some of that at Celtic Park please.

Since he's only a young lad, his strongest position is still yet to be identified. This could work in Brendan Rodgers' favour, though, as the youngster could take on a few different roles, which would only boost his chances of game time. A win-win, really.
