The upcoming Glasgow Derby at Parkhead could have major implications on the title race. Celtic sit three points clear with three league games to go. They have a better goal difference than the Rangers as well. But as we have seen multiple times this season already, it does not take long for things to make a U-turn.

So, Celtic cannot take anything for granted. This title race is far from over and they must take their A-game to Parkhead at the weekend.

A win would pretty much wrap up the title race for Celtic. But even a draw would have to be viewed as a very positive result for them. Maintaining a three-point lead and a better goal difference going into the final two league games of the season would be fantastic for Brendan Rodgers' side.

On the other hand, the Rangers find themselves in a must-win situation going to Celtic Park. At least that is the view of most people, including their fans. But seemingly not that of Philippe Clement.

Celtic fans should be delighted with Philippe Clement's latest claim

Clement has faced criticism in recent weeks as the Rangers have allowed Celtic to not only get back into the title race but take a lead. And the Rangers manager's latest comments won't make too many of the Ibrox supporters happy.

As reported by BBC, Clement said when asked if he thought a win was necessary to maintain title hopes:

"I don't totally agree with that.

"If you have a draw, you still can become champions [but] we go for the three points."

So, it looks like the Rangers manager is still viewing a draw away at Parkhead as a viable result for his team. Let's see how they approach the game this weekend.

As for Celtic players and coaches, they cannot spend any time thinking about the Rangers' mindset going into the Glasgow Derby. Their complete focus has to be on themselves.
