The world of Celtic and the WWE has gotten mixed up more often in recent times than one would expect. Of course, CM Punk decided to wear the club's merchandise not too long ago, while in the middle of a feud with Drew McIntyre. Of course, the Scotsman is known to be a supporter of the Rangers.

McIntyre has never made his support for the Rangers a secret. So, it is easy to understand why Celtic fans are not particularly fond of him.

On a recent episode of WWE SmackDown, a Celtic fan brought a sign to the event that read 'Drew is a zombie' in green and white. He also seemed to be wearing the club's special kit from last season with the ghost badges.

The sign appeared on TV for a brief while during LA Knight's entrance and a fan posted the clip on X. So far, that short video has gone on to draw more than 200,000 views.

Of course, other Celtic fans picked up on the sign as well. And it would be safe to say that they would have enjoyed the little joke on WWE television. It was a nice easter egg for those who enjoy both football and wrestling.

McIntyre's rivalry with Punk still seems to be going strong. But the final chapter to that feud does not seem to be far away either, in what has been one of the most compelling storylines on WWE television this year.

Of course, one can only wonder what McIntyre has made of the football this month. He must have seen his beloved Rangers lose to Celtic convincingly once again, in the first Glasgow Derby of the season. And then, the Hoops also won their Champions League opener by a 5-1 scoreline.
