Most Celtic fans believe that the club need to sign some proven and experienced players this summer. The Hoops have made plenty of project signings in recent years and the majority of them have failed to make their mark at Parkhead. Yet, it looks like they are not ready to move away from their transfer strategy just yet.

Celtic have alresdy been linked with Costa Rican international Andy Rojas. The 18-year-old talent appeared at the ongoing Copa America recently, making history for his national team in the process.

Now, it appears that a Swedish midfielder is in the club's sights as well. And it might take a decent transfer fee to sign him.

As reported by Fotboll Direkt, Celtic are interested in BK Hacken's Pontus Dahbo and it is a name they will follow closely in the future. However, it is unclear whether the Scottish club will make a move for the talent this summer.

It is believed that it will take a transfer fee in the region of €4 million to sign Dahbo from Hacken. It remains to be seen whether Celtic end up making a move for him or not in the summer window.

Celtic do have plenty of options in the middle of the park but things could change soon. Matt O'Riley's future is up in the air, with several top clubs believed to be interested in him. On the other hand, it is starting to look unlikely that the Hoops would sign Paulo Bernardo on a permanent basis from Benfica in this window.

There are question marks over the future of Odin Thiago Holm as well. He arrived amid high expectations but has not featured much since then. There is a possibility that he could look for a change of scenery as well.
