Celtic make enquiry about Bayern Munich goalkeeper
Celtic's search for Joe Hart this summer has seen them being linked with a long list of goalkeepers over the past few months. Caoimhin Kellher of Liverpool, Altay Bayindir of Manchester United, Ugurcan Cakir of Trabzonspor, Anthony Patterson of Sunderland and several others are believed to be on the radar of Brendan Rodgers' side.
Of course, the ideal situation would be Celtic signing a long-term goalkeeper on a permanent basis. But it would be mistake if they end up overlooking players available on loan.
The signing of Fraser Forster in the summer of 2019 is a perfect example of when a goalkeeper was signed on loan and ended up having an excellent campaign for Celtic. Could the club look to repeat the trick this summer?
They do seem to have some interest in one of Bayern Munich's goalkeepers, who is getting much playing time at the moment. As reported by BILD, Daniel Peretz will be loaned out this summer. Celtic, Union Berlin, RSC Anderlecht, FC Copenhagen, Nottingham Forest, Real Betis and Villarreal are said to have enquired about him.

Thus, it looks like Peretz will have no lack of options if he was to leave Bayern Munich. It was just last summer that he joined the Bundesliga giants but has not been able to get ahead of Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich in the pecking order.
It looks like there is some interest from Celtic in Peretz. But one has to wonder whether he would be open to a move to Parkhead at this point in time.
Fans would be hoping that Celtic end up signing a goalkeeper who can be their number one for years to come. Hart brought some stability in the position for the past three years but he was never viewed as a long-term option.
