Two goals immediately after half-time, from Kyogo and Liam Scales, put Celtic in a good position against Livingston. After a goalless first half, the supporters were clearly not happy but the Bhoys did give them something to cheer about after the break. That being said, a lot of questions still remain over Brendan Rodgers' side.

At the end of the day, Livingston are the bottom team in the Premiership. Fans would have been hoping for a statement performance from Celtic following two straight defeats in the league.

Instead, what we got was more of the same. An uninspiring display from a team that seems to have run out of ideas and are lacking confidence in front of goal.

Whatever Rodgers said at half-time clearly worked. But the performance was not impressive by any stretch of the imagination. At the end of the day, the three points are most important but Livingston had lost seven of their last eight games coming into Parkhead.

The problem is, Celtic have never really looked convincing this season. Except for a few good performances here and there, this is a team that struggles whenever up against a resolute defence.

Kyogo scoring against Livingston is certainly a positive. And Luis Palma needed a confidence booster as well after a series of disappointing performances. So hopefully, they will find some form moving forward.

The Glasgow Derby is just a week away and it could very well turn out to be the most important match of this Premiership season. One cannot deny that it is the Rangers with all the momentum on their side right now. And if Celtic are to get a result against them, they will need to be at the top of their game, which they have not been for quite some time.
