Celtic boss offers Luis Palma news amid injury fears
It would be pretty safe to say that Luis Palma has been the pick of Celtic's summer transfer signings. The Honduran winger is the only one of the nine new arrivals who has somewhat solidified his place in the starting XI. It will be interesting to see if that remains the case once Liel Abada and Daizen Maeda are fully fit, but for now, the former Aris FC player is someone the Hoops are relying on heavily.
Palma has certainly delivered the goods more often than not. He has brought a bit of magic and creativity to the side that had been missing since the departure of Jota. The Honduran also has the penchant for scoring a variety of goals.
Naturally, fans were left concerned when it looked like he had suffered an injury in the recent game against St Johnstone. Thankfully, it looks like that was not the case.
As reported by BBC, Brendan Rodgers explained it was cramp rather than a hamstring injury. The Celtic manager said about Palma's situation:
""Thankfully he's okay.""

Palma being okay is great news for Celtic. The team has already seemed a bit uninspired in recent weeks. Without the Honduran winger's flair, that situation is not expected to get better.
There is a recognition that Celtic need to bring in more quality in upcoming transfer windows. Hopefully, they will start doing that this winter itself.
This title race is far from over. Especially with Celtic looking like a team that could drop points in even the most straightforward games. The upcoming AFC Asian Cup could be an interesting curveball for the Hoops as well.
Let's just hope that Rodgers' side are able to maintain a healthy lead until January. And then they make the required additions to the squad to get themselves over the line.
