Thus, it feels unlikely that he will be handed a new deal. Even if he does end up staying on at Parkhead, it should be as a veteran player who can help the next number one settle in.

A move for Andriy Lunin had seemed possible at one point but that does not appear to be the case anymore. The 24-year-old has performed exceptionally well when starting for Real Madrid this season and seems to have moved ahead of Kepa in the pecking order. Even if he were to leave in the summer, there are expected to be a lot of clubs interested whom Celtic might not be able to compete with.

Kelleher would be a fantastic signing for Celtic and might end up being the long-term goalkeeper that they have been looking for for years. He has done very well whenever given a chance by Jurgen Klopp but it is hard to see him moving ahead of Alisson in the pecking order anytime soon.
