Celtic might have brought in Adam Idah in the winter but the club could once again be in search of a striker when the transfer window reopens. That is because the Irish international, who has done a very good job since arriving, is only on loan from Norwich City and the deal does not even include a buyout clause for the Hoops.

On top of that, Pierre van Hooijdonk has failed to find his feet on loan at Norwich City. That has made things trickier for Celtic and Idah.

Also, one cannot ignore the situation of Oh Hyeon-gyu. The South Korean international has slipped down the pecking order at Celtic since the arrival of Idah and has barely featured in recent months. One would not be surprised if he was sent out on loan or left permanently in the summer.

Thus, Celtic could need to sign a new striker in the summer. And it does look like Brendan Rodgers rates Bojan Miovski of Aberdeen highly.

Miovski was on the mark at the weekend, opening the scoring for Aberdeen inside 2 minutes. This is not the first time he has scored against Celtic this season either.

Miovski has scored in three different games against Celtic in this campaign. He has also found the back of the net on two occasions against the Rangers. Overall, he has scored 24 goals across all competitions. And as reported by 67 Hail Hail, Rodgers said on BBC:

"He’s a good player, their striker. So yeah, there was just too much space.

“We were away on the attack before we’ve even secured the ball and they scored a very good goal so you have to give them credit for that."

Miovski looks like an excellent striker. It is also worth remembering that Aberdeen are not having a good season and there has been no stability in the manager's dugout. The North Macedonian international has continued to perform despite that. So, someone like him would be a good signing for any club in Scotland.
