Ange Postecoglou wants Tottenham Hotspur to sign Celtic player
Brendan Rodgers and Ange Postecoglou have had very different endings to the 2023/24 season. The Northern Irishman faced his hurdles early on and in the middle of the campaign, but Celtic have found some form late on and sealed the league in style with a 5-0 against Kilmarnock. On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur had looked like title contenders at one point but following a bad run of form in recent months, it is uncertain whether they will even finish fifth in the Premier League.
Postecoglou will surely be keen to strengthen Tottenham Hotspur's ranks over the summer as looks to improve upon his positive debut campaign. And it looks like he is seeking a reunion with a player he signed during his time as Celtic boss.
Matt O'Riley has enjoyed a tremendous campaign and has been Celtic's best player this season. Naturally, there are question marks over his long-term future at Parkhead.
As reported by GIVEMESPORT, Postecoglou wants to seal a reunion with O'Riley at Tottenham Hotspur. Another London club, West Ham United, are interested in the Danish international as well.

Postecoglou might have been the one to bring O'Riley to Celtic but it is under the management of Rodgers that he has played his best football. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 18 goals and provided 18 assists in 47 appearances this season.
Clubs like Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Manchester United have been linked with him recently. In fact, the Spanish club tried to sign him in the winter but were unsuccessful.
Thus, it just feels unlikely that O'Riley will remain at Celtic Park beyond this summer. But stranger things have happened in football. He is still just 23 years of age and has plenty of time to get his big move.
