Ange Postecoglou signing must still leave Celtic this summer
The arrival of Ange Postecoglou as Celtic manager seems such a long time ago now. It is hard to believe that the Rangers had the upper hand at that point in time and were actually expected to go on a run of league wins while the Hoops rebuilt after what was a terrible 20/21 campaign. It would be safe to say that things have turned out quite well for the green-and-white side of Glasgow since that summer.
One of the main reasons behind that was the work that Celtic put in during the two transfer windows over the 21/22 season. They signed one gem after another. Kyogo, Jota, Matt O'Riley, Reo Hatate, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Daizen Maeda and many more were brought in.
That does not mean that all signings worked out. One of the first arrivals of the Postecoglou era was Liam Shaw, although, he had agreed to a pre-contract months ago.
Many Celtic fans might have even forgotten his name by now. That is because he has spent the majority of his time out on loan.

Interestingly, Shaw is still at the club and has not left on loan or permanently. He should though, as his prospects of getting regular football at Celtic are slim to none at this point.
When Shaw was signed, he was believed to be someone who had the chance to develop into a player like Kristoffer Ajer. It would be safe to say that he has failed to meet his potential until now.
It would not help if he remains in the reserves at Celtic. Shaw needs to be playing regular football. He made 26 appearances out on loan for Wigan Athletic last season. The Turkish transfer window is still open for a while and maybe the Hoops could still engineer an exit.
