Ange Postecoglou has had an interesting debut season at Tottenham Hotspur. Early on in the campaign, they were flying and it looked like the former Celtic manager could end up challening for the Premier League. But injuries to key players appeared to take the wind out of their sails and they have never really recovered since then.

That does not mean that Tottenham Hotspur have not exceeded all expectations this season, they most definitely have. They look almost certain to not finish lower than 5th and top four is still a possibility if they can go on a good run between now and the end of the campaign.

To that, they will need to get a good result against Arsenal. Mikel Arteta's side are once again putting up a title challenge and recently got a 5-0 win over Chelsea.

For many Tottenham Hotspur fans, nothing would be sweeter than derailing that title challenge. And Postecoglou is someone who certainly knows a thing or two about high-pressure derbies.

Postecoglou had an excellent record in the Glasgow Derby over his time at Celtic. And as reported by football.london, the manager said ahead of the North London Derby:

"I've just come down from Glasgow. I've got a fair idea about what derbies mean to supporters."

Postecoglou has also made it clear though that he likes to focus on the success of his team rather than the failure of others:

"I never wanted to win those games because it meant Rangers would lose. I wanted to win because I wanted us to win the title."

Well, win titles he certainly did. Postecoglou was successful in guiding Celtic to five trophies over his two seasons as the club's manager.

Winning trophies with Tottenham Hotspur will be much more difficult though. It is something the club have rarely done in their recent history. They have reached finals but never managed to get over the finishing line. But if there is one manager who can help them do that, it is Postecoglou, with the Australian having a proven track record of silverware pretty much everywhere he has been.
