Adam Idah sends message to Norwich City about Celtic return
Most Celtic fans would love to see Adam Idah back in a green-and-white jersey next season. The Irishman spent the second half of the 23/24 campaign on loan at Parkhead and was able to establish himself as a key part of Brendan Rodgers' team. The Hoops did not have an option to buy included in the deal though, which has proven to be a problem for them.
Norwich City have a new manager in place. And it looks like he wants to have a look at Idah in pre-season before making any decision about his future.
On the other hand, even if Idah was to leave, there have been rumours that Norwich City would want a transfer fee in the region of £8 million. It goes without saying that that would be a significant fee for Celtic to shell out, especially for a player who was not even a regular starter for them.
The player himself appears to have a preference though. As tweeted by Pete O'Rourke, Idah has informed Norwich City that he would like to leave the club to join Celtic permanently.

It remains to be seen if Idah ends up joining Celtic this summer. There seem to be obstacles on the way but the player wanting the move could work in the Hoops' favour.
To be honest, joining Celtic seems to be the sensible route for Idah. He clearly had a role in the team and it was growing as well.
He scored the winner in the final of the Scottish Cup against the Rangers. He also found the back of the net at Ibrox in brilliant fashion earlier in the season.
There is clearly a very talented player in Idah. But he was not getting enough opportunities at Norwich City. There is no guarantee whether that will change in the future.
