Adam Idah makes £5 million Celtic transfer decision
Adam Idah will surely be looking to repeat his heroics from the last Glasgow Derby when he takes to the pitch against the Rangers this weekend at Parkhead. The Irishman scored a wonderful goal at Ibrox, which had looked to be the winner, only for the home team to find an equaliser in stoppage time. The game ended in a 3-3 draw.
It was on that day that many Celtic fans' questions over Idah were answered. It would be safe to say that the majority of the supporters would be satisfied if the striker was signed on a permanent basis at the end of his loan spell from Norwich City.
It would not be straightforward though. Firstly, it is believed that it would take a transfer fee in the region of £5 million to convince Norwich City to part ways with him in the summer. Also, what does Idah himself think about a permanent switch to Celtic Park?
As reported by Football Insider, Idah is “very keen” to turn his Celtic loan stint from Norwich City into a permanent move. All parties are believed to be keen to make the deal happen over the coming weeks.

There are areas where Idah could improve as a striker. He still does not score as often from open play as one would hope.
But overall, Idah has impressed during his time at Celtic Park and seems to be a solid backup option for Kyogo. If the club were able to sign him in the summer, it would have to be viewed as a positive for the Hoops.
On the other hand, one has to wonder what the future holds for Oh Hyeon-gyu. He had shown signs of promise in the first half of the campaign but has barely featured since the arrival of Idah on loan in the winter window.
