Adam Idah makes superb Celtic claim ahead of summer window
Will Adam Idah sign for Celtic on a permanent basis or will he head back to Norwich City at the end of his half-season loan spell? That is a question whose answer many fans will be awating eagerly. The Republic of Ireland international scored his eighth goal for the Hoops as they sealed the league title win against Kilmarmock.
There were a lot of fans who were unimpressed with the club's decision to sign Idah on a loan deal in the winter. He was not a proven goalscorer and did not have much experience.
But since his arrival, Idah has proven a lot of critics wrong. And now, the majority of the supporters would like to see Celtic sign the striker on a permanent basis.
That is easier said than done though. Celtic do not have a buyout clause included in the loan deal, meaning that if they want to sign Idah over the summer than they would have to agree a transfer fee with Norwich City. And on the back of his impressive performances in Scotland, the Canaries will surely be asking for a decent figure.

Of course, a lot will depend on what Idah wants to do next as well. And it looks like he is pretty happy in Glasgow right now. As reported by 67 Hail Hail, he told Celtic TV:
"Unbelievable. I had a tough start to the season; my confidence was low, and ever since I arrived, I’ve been so welcomed in. I hope I repaid that to the fans and to the players. Look, I’m over the moon to be here.
“The crowd are unbelievable. What the boys have done tonight has been amazing. Not just tonight but the whole season. There’s been so many ups and downs, so it’s fantastic to enjoy it with everyone."
If Idah pushes for a permanent move to Celtic in the summer, it would make it easier for the Hoops to sign him. It remains to be seen how things play out.
Of course, if Celtic are unable to sign Idah, Bojan Miovski is another option they should consider. The North Macedonian striker has been absolutely superb since joining Aberdeen and seems ready for the next level.
