AC Milan looking to sign £8 million Celtic player in January
Celtic might have a lot of players on their roster right now but there are very few who are contributing in front of goal on a consistent basis. We have seen the Hoops' effectiveness in terms of scoring decrease this season. Kyogo is not scoring at the rate that he was doing in the previous campaign, when he got himself 34 goals. Jota is no longer at Parkhead either.
Amid these circumstances, who has been very valuable to this team is David Turnbull. The midfielder is Celtic's second highest goalscorer this season, just a goal behind Kyogo.
It is also worth pointing out that Turnbull has been in and out of the team and has not played nearly the amount of football that Kyogo has in this season so far. That sort of form seems to be drawing the attention of some of the most prestigious teams in Europe.
AC Milan appear to be keeping an eye on Turnbull ahead of the January transfer window. What makes things tougher for Celtic is the fact that his contract is set to run out next summer.

While speaking to PianetaMilan, Michele Fratini said about Turnbull: "Very interesting profile that many Italian clubs are looking at, including Milan."
It will be very interesting to see what the future holds for Turnbull. Celtic have been handing out new contracts left, right and centre recenly, and it is a bit curious that the Scottish midfielder has not put pen to paper on an extension yet.
There have been suggestions that the club are very open to the idea of Turnbull extending his deal. So, the hold up might very well be on the player's end.
One can understand why. Turnbull joined Celtic in the summer of 2020. Except for a spell in the 20/21 season, he has never really been a regular starter for the Hoops t
