12 goalkeepers who could replace Joe Hart at Celtic

More goalkeepers Celtic can consider
Anthony Patterson
Anthony Patterson is currently first-choice at Sunderland where he has been impressing other clubs, Liverpool and Arsenal included. Celtic are believed to be keeping an eye on the highly-rated youngster as well.
He faces another spell in the Championship as Sunderland finished 16th in the English second division after starting the season as one of the favourites to be promoted. A transfer fee of around £10 million is being suggested, and it remains to be seen if Celtic are willing to make that kind of a splash.
Asmir Begovic
Currently playing in goal for QPR in the Championship, Asmir Begovic has bags of experience behind him. He’s played for top clubs like Chelsea and AC Milan and has featured a lot for Bosnia and Herzegovina at the international level. The 36-year-old would not be a long-term solution for the Hoops by any means but could fill the gap of a veteran leader left behind by Joe Hart.
Fraser Forster
Well known to Celtic, Brendan Rodgers and the fans, Fraser Forster is likely to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer. Could he make another return to Parkhead?
Social media is abuzz with the suggestion, but a lot of fans don't want the move to happen. They point out his limited game time in recent seasons and many are still unhappy at him not signing for the club permanently in the summer of 2020.
Critical decisions ahead for Celtic
It's a tough but necessary task to replace Hart, who won seven trophies in three years at Celtic. Rodgers and the recruitment team will need to work hard to decide on their approach for a replacement. The transfer budget and the depth of cover at the club for the role will be factors. There are lots of potential goalkeepers out there, but finding the right one, or even two, will be important.
