Celtic are not in a great situation right now. They have allowed the Rangers to take the lead in the Premiership title race despite being in a comfortable position just a few months ago. And judging by the way things have been going, it would be a surprise if the Hoops are able to turn things around. This looks like a team without an identity, struggling to deliver in almost every department, whether it be on or off the pitch.

Amidst all this, it looks like one of their most highly-rated players is looking to engineer a move away from Celtic. That is none other than Liel Abada.

In his two seasons under the management of Ange Postecoglou, Abada might not have been a regular starter but he was definitely one of their most effective players. In both those campaigns, he had more than 20 goal contributions to his name.

Those numbers have dried up this season. And the situation off the pitch has made it even more difficult for Abada to continue on at Celtic Park. An exit seems inevitable at this point, after he has been left out of the squad in recent games.

Reports in his homeland have claimed that Abada's agent is set to arrive in Glasgow to discuss the player's potential move to the MLS. Celtic are not believed to be interested in a loan though and are expected to look for a transfer fee to part ways with the winger.

At this point, it might be best for both Celtic and Abada to go their separate ways. It does not look like the situation is going to change anytime soon.

Also, if Abada is not going to be playing, then his potential transfer fee is only going to go down. So, finding a solution soon would be ideal.
