It looks like even Kris Boyd has been blown away by one Celtic player, who he described as an outstanding find.

It is rare for Kris Boyd to come out and praise Celtic players, considering his Rangers past. But it does have once in a blue moon. That occasion has come once again, amid all the negativity surrounding Parkhead at the moment. The club have been heavily criticised for their summer transfer business, but it looks like they might have still managed to find one outstanding talent.

Of course, it is important for us not to get too far ahead of ourselves. That being said, one cannot deny Sebastian Tounekti's brilliance in his debut for Celtic, in the game at the weekend against Kilmarnock.

The Tunisian international was making his debut under tough conditions, especially with the team completely out of form. There was not much to be excited about Celtic's performance on the day but Tounekti did stand out.

So much so that even Boyd was impressed. While speaking on the Go Ballistic podcast, the former Rangers man said:

"It looks as if the Tunisian boy is another outstanding find for Celtic in that area."

Celtic did need to strengthen on the flanks with Jota out injured for the rest of the year, while Nicolas Kuhn left in the summer. And it looks like they have managed to do just that with Tounekti.

Tounekti has received some well-earned praise since the game against Kilmarnock. Now, it is about him continuing to perform at that level while also showing that he can contribute with both goals and assists. If he can do that, Celtic might be about to have a better campaign than most fans are expecting.

At the same time, it is far too early to make any sort of prediction about how Tounekti's Celtic career is about to go. Yes, he had an impressive debut. But many others have done that before him, only to struggle as time has progressed. That is something that the Tunisian international has to avoid at all costs if he wants to be a key player for Brendan Rodgers.
