Music lovers were delighted to learn that Oasis would be reuniting and going on tour next year. It is something that their fans have wanted for a long time and the band decided that the time was right to make a comeback. As a result, Noel Gallagher has been in the headlines quite often in recent months. But the most recent of them is because of giving a shoutout to Celtic live on air.

It is no secret that Gallagher is a Manchester City fan. In fact, he is almost part of the club's lore at this point in time and an iconic figure in their history as well.

As a result, Gallagher joined the TNT Sports commentary team for Manchester City's match in Lisbon. Unfortunately for him, it did not go to plan for Pep Guardiola's side as they were on the end of a 4-1 upset against Sporting CP, with Viktor Gyokeres scoring a hattrick.

The Oasis superstar did seem to enjoy Celtic's win against RB Leipzig though. As reported by The Scottish Sun, when Darren Fletcher gave a score update from Parkhead, sharing that Reo Hatate had made it 3-1 to the Hoops, Gallagher said:

"Come on the Bhoys!"

Thus, it looks like Gallagher has a soft spot for Celtic. A fact that did not make many Rangers fans happy, and they let it be known on social media and fan forums.

To that we say, maybe, they should focus on their own team at this point in time. It has not been a good start to the season for the Rangers to put it mildly.

They are nine points behind not only Celtic but also Aberdeen in the Premiership right now. They did manage to make it to the League Cup final, where they will face the Hoops.
