Ange Postecoglou might be starting to regret ever leaving Celtic. He could not put a foot wrong during his time at Parkhead. But since moving to the Premier League, he has been a heavily criticised figure, even though there have been a few highlights along the way as well. Winning the Europa League with Tottenham Hotspur, ending their 18-year wait for silverware, was certainly a special achievement.

That being said, it did not stop Tottenham Hotspur from sacking him after the end of the 24/25 season. But Postecoglou got another job quickly, with Nottingham Forest bringing him in as the replacement for Nuno Espirito Santo.

Something tells us that Postecoglou might have wait a lot longer for his next job. That is because he has been sacked by Nottingham Forest after just 39 days in charge, having failed to win any of their eight games over that period of time.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Postecoglou. On the other hand, Jonathan Pearson of GIVEMESPORT has urged Nottingham Forest to have a look at Brendan Rodgers and believes that he could turn Nottingham Forest's season around.

It would not come as any surprise if Rodgers' name is linked with that job very soon. That being said, the Northern Irishman has always maintained that he will at the very least see out his contract with Celtic, which runs out next summer.

It is uncertain where Rodgers will go after that. Staying at Celtic could be an option but it feels unlikely after everything we have seen transpire over the last few years.

That being said, there is no reason to believe that Rodgers will go against his word and leave Celtic in the middle of the season. We are pretty convinced about that one.
