Celtic lost Mika Baur to an apparant injury during their narrow win over Kilmarnock on Sunday. The Bhoys were heavy favourites for the game, with Killie going into the weekend bottom but one, but it was far from comfortable for Martin O'Neill's men.

Kasper Hogh had an early goal ruled out for a foul in the build-up, but Liam Scales went on to score what turned out to be the winner in the first half. The centre-back latched onto a fine Camilo DurĂ¡n cross with an outstretched leg, sending the ball looping over the keeper.

Celtic dominated in the second half but did not find any rewards, but they kept Kilmarnock quiet, with the strugglers only really looking dangerous with a flashed ball across the box late on, which was unmet. Albeit they did have a good early chance, with Sam Johnstone pulling off a double save.

Celtic now go into the international break with a four-point lead at the top, albeit with Rangers having a game in hand, and they also go into the break after back-to-back wins following Thursday night's win over Besiktas.

But there is an injury concern that Celtic will now need to deal with, with Baur having limped off injured with five minutes remaining. It was a contact injury for the German, which is usually a positive, but he was unable to shake off the issue.

Baur was limping heavily as he made his way off the pitch and around the sideline, and he had to be replaced by Alex Oxlade-Chambrlain, who came on to see of the game in midfield with five minutes remaining plus four minutes of stoppage time.

Baur was not called up for the Germany national team despite doing well for his nation in the last break, which saw him win his first two caps at senior level.

That does mean Baur will get around two weeks to recover from whatever the injury is, which is good news. We will have to wait to see whether the midfielder will miss any Bhoys action, but while we don't want to rule out anything at this stage, it did look like a nasty kick and one the midfielder should be able to shake off over the course of two weeks.

In terms of silver linings, Jota made his first start for Celtic in more than 18 months and was replaced at half-time, which was likely planned, and Yang Hyun-jun got minutes for the first time since he jetted off for the Asian Games in September and picked up a hamstring injury.

Update: Speaking after the game, Celtic boss Martin O'Neill said: "Tim is telling me it might be a heavy ankle sprain, but it's too early to say."
