New Celtic signing Landon Emenalo will not be available for a short period due to an injury.
The Bhoys have confirmed that Emenalo has joined on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea, making the move with Blues teammate Shim Mhueka, who also joined.
Emenalo will serve as vital cover at left-back, with no recognised left-back behind Kieran Tierney, albeit Liam Scales can play there if needs must, and Emenalo can also play in midfield, which makes him a valuable asset.
But the Hoops will not be able to call upon him just yet, with Martin O'Neill confirming on Celtic TV: "He has picked up a little injury at this moment in time that will keep him out for a couple of weeks."

Speaking to the club website about his move to Parkhead, Emenalo said: “It feels great to have joined Celtic, such a big club with a massive history. I knew a bit about Celtic, but I realised just how big the club is when I first visited!
“I know the club has such a huge support and that the fans here are so passionate for their club, so I’m going to do my best for them every time I play and try and play a role in our success.
“To have the chance to play for Celtic is very exciting to me. It fills me with confidence and I’m so happy that the club wanted to have me. I have spoken to the manager and he’s a great guy with a lot of experience and a great coach, so I’m really looking forward to working with him.
“I’m going to work hard here and do everything I can to help the team and make an impact. Coming from Chelsea, it’s similar because of the expectations to win, and here at Celtic you’re expected to win everything, so I’m ready for that.”
What O'Neill said about the deal
"Landon is a very good player we have followed for some time, he will give us some real quality, " Celtic boss O'Neill added.
"He has many attributes which I think can benefit us, he is very quick and athletic but also very composed on the ball and while he can defend he certainly gets up the pitch into attacking positions too.
"I know he has a real desire to do well for us and I am sure he will, as he adds strong competition and support on our left side.”
