We have just one week to go until Celtic's new season officially kicks off, with the Bhoys hosting Dundee in their Scottish Premiership opener next Monday.
Martin O'Neill and his men will attempt to defend their league title this season, but slow recruitment again this summer means they are not in a great position to have a fast start. It was a similar situation last season, which is why fans are so frustrated, but how much work is there to do?
Here we take a look at the work O'Neill and the club's recruitment staff still need to do, and we're assuming Kasper Hogh will be signed to complete the strikers' room, with the £11m signing having his medical on Monday.
Find a new starting goalkeeper
Following Kasper Schmeichel's retirement at the end of the season, Celtic need to find themselves a new starting goalkeeper. Viljami Sinisalo will likely start the season, with the Bhoys clearly in no rush. But a new starter is going to have to be sourced, whether it is Las Palmas keeper Dinko Horkas or someone else.
Wrap up Hassan deal
The Hoops need to add a winger, and they look to be working on a deal to sign Real Oviedo and Egypt star Haissem Hassan for somewhere in the £7million region. Progress seems to be made on that front, and you would hope Celtic can get the deal done before the season kicks off.
Find a new centre-back
O'Neill is likely to want more depth at centre-back, even if it comes in the form of a young or developmental player. The Hoops have Auston Trusty, Liam Scales, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Dane Murray.
Four centre-backs means they are not in a desperate situation by any means, but if they are going to also compete in Europe, it would be very wise to have five on their books, even if that fifth player is not going to be starting week in, week out. A veteran or young option will do the trick for depth.
Sign replacements for Arne Engels and Reo Hatate
Celtic are likely to lose key players Arne Engels and Reo Hatate this summer, so it would have been nice to see them take a proactive approach. That does not seem likely, but they will still need to find replacements at some point.
Engels and Hatate will suck plenty of quality from the squad when they depart, and Celtic are going to have to replace that lost quality with some genuine talent. A midfielder and an attacking midfielder need to be found, and you could argue two midfield signings are required to truly improve this midfield, especially given it's very likely the Hoops are not going to find a replacement who is as good as Engels.
A new Kieran Tierney back-up
Last but not least, O'Neill is likely to want to sign a new left-back to ensure there is enough cover for the injury-prone Kieran Tierney. The Scot was largely available last season, but he cannot play every game in league, cup and Europe, so a replacement needs to be found for former loan man Marcelo Saracchi.
