Celtic returned to winning ways with their 5-1 victory over Aberdeen at home to put the disappointment of the Hibernian defeat behind them. Daizen Maeda's brilliant form in front of goal as he scored a brace. He might very well be the first-choice striker now. Jota, Callum McGregor and Yang Hyun-jun were the other scorers for the Hoops.

For many, it was a routine win for Celtic as they march towards a fourth-straight Premiership title. Not for Jude Bonnar though, who made his first-team debut for the club on the night.

Bonnar was brought on as a substitute in the 80th minute of the game against Aberdeen. It was a good run out in the park for the youngster and hopefully the first of many.

This has been a long journey for Bonnar, that is for sure. He has been with Celtic since he was seven. It is always great to see players come through the academy ranks and make it to the senior team.

Someone who must know Bonnar well from their time together at the academy is Ben Doak. He shared the club's post about his debut on his Instagram story, accompanied by a couple of emojis.

Doak is someone who had the talent to come through the academy and become a regular fixture in the Celtic first-team. He was even given a couple of first-team appearances at 16 years of age. But that was not enough to convince him to remain at Parkhead.

Doak would end up leaving for Liverpool. He has made a handful of appearances for the Reds since then but it goes without saying that getting regular playing time for the Merseyside club is very difficult. As a result, he now finds himself out on loan at Middlesbrough in the Championship.
